Not sure exactly what happened, but I only noticed this after I manually deleted some lyrics files in the "_" directory.

Many of my lyrics don't match up properly.....

Ozzy Osbourne or Powerman 5000?

It seems to update properly again for that song if I reload the lyrics (refresh or try next result)

Very strange. It never happened to me.

Are the actual files being replaced, or EL is just displaying the title of 1 song and the lyrics from other?

Also, have you got any idea if the mismatched lyrics correspond to the next/previous song played to the song it should be displaying?

Files are intact, and they're not consecutive filenames...like I said, I manually deleted some files in the "_" directory, that's probably why it hasn't happened to you.

Hm good to hear that it doesn't affect the files.

I don't see any relation between deleting the files in the "_" directory and this bug, because EL doesn't keep any particular list of the files it downloaded. It just uses the file listing from the folders. Do you know if the OS might have some caching *feature* which is reporting the existence of files that you have already deleted?

Try changing the Cache Folder in the Options Dialog to any other folder, applying the settings (maybe restarting EL too) and then setting the Cache Folder to the previous (real) path.. Let's see if this works.

My mistake, the files have changed.

Well, that's half the problem, I guess...

Just thought of another possibility...could loading new songs too fast cause lyrics to be written to the wrong song?  Like, a song gets loaded, it starts searching for lyrics, song changes, lyrics are found and saved to the new file?

I was loading new songs at a rate of 3 songs per second or so (to trigger as many posts as possible) while I was testing my scripts.  This would make more sense as a cause, because they were being loaded in random order in that case, and you probably wouldn't have done this, either.  So, I have random files overwritten with lyrics of other songs I have that probably only would have been loaded during that testing.
