If shared over bittorrent the folder would know which ones you already have; you could share those and just get the new ones.

! Furthermore one would only have to create a new tracker for each updated version, not a new zip of all the lyrics.

Zero bandwidth redundancy (except that you're downloding it for songs you don't have in your collection).

So, instead it should only download the lyrics to individual songs you have played (and say the next one coming up so it's ready by the time you want to play it) via bitorrent.

However, this system would be fairly inefficient to download song by song.  Bittorrenting works better for larger files-- so they should switch to distributing karoke folders containing an entire aritists karyoke files.

PS Of course this would be difficult to implement, but it's really the best solution.  There should already be code that does this already since lots of groups need to be re-releasing data like this.

You use an inferior bittorrent client that does not support magnet URLs.

This thing works, today, because I included a magnet URL.

It's on you to install and use the correct client.  It's not my fault demonoid closed their doors. 

If someone can grab the demonoid torrent and actually put the torrent file here (I'm not going to do this; I did my part by seeding this thing for 120 days so far)........................................ I think you could use it.  Demoinoid has registrations locked out, but not downloads.

EIther way, the magnet URL works without a tracker.  In light of demonoid closing their doors, this is likely the only way to get it.
