The new AIM profile feature is really nice, but it has one problem: the lyrics can be too long.  When the lyrics that EL sends are longer than the allowed number of characters (1024) AIM wont change the profile.  also, because of the automatic AIM simlies, some of the lyrics are manipulated in funny ways.

another thing, the lyrics that are small enough don't automatically send themselves to the server, so the message is always the same for everybody except yourself

well ... aim thing will be removed and replaced with some similar and more general feature for writing into files. i don't know how to post the profile to some central server though. any ideas?

I have an idea, dont know if it will work though, I downloaded a addon for Aim called Middle_Man and it supports scripting in the profile, so all i do is add the string "$WA_SONG" and it adds the name of the file playing, its a great feature, maybe you could do something like that with EL?
