I really need to make an account. I found a bug. When playing the song Iron Maiden - 2Minutes To Midnight?(??2??) [I haven't fixed the tags up nice and pretty on it yet.] It crashes EvilLyrics. It tries to connect to www.epinions.com, says parsing, then crashes. Hope this helps.

Memory handling is really a problem of the OS.. Windows is well known to handle the resources very badly.. Generally, when an program loads, it starts with a high memory usage.. As time goes by, Windows goes optimizing it and reduces it a lot..

See an screenshot of my task manager. EvilLyrics was running for about 30 minutes..

Well my experience is that a programs memory usage most oftenly increases with time due to various memory leeaks in the programs and the fact that windows is bad at recovering used ram that becomes availible later on. The initial memory footprint is very much dependent on the program as is the continiung footprint I would say.

I have about 8mb of memory usage after about 3 min. and decreased to 6.5mb, then sort of leveled off. Frankly, that's fine for me since I have 512mb ram (most sytems have 256mb)

I have 128mb. As all my friends except one with 512mb, but he's at video editing.

damn, el seems to be perfect now, i can't find a way to crash it and it has almost everything i need, great work marek \,,/_

but i've to ask again to replace the bad-on-filename character with an underscore when it saves the lyrics file (if you trim 'em out you could have problem when a filename has ONLY strange characters, and you can't save a file with no-name )
