I can't install the latest version.  It just sits there, with one green bar on the left.  Hours go by, and still nothing.  I'm on Win XP Home, C Drive.

Same here, I bet it's everyone, but just in case I'm running Windows 2000 SP4

My guess is they implemented that part badly and fudged the installer.

What kind of compression does NIS use?... I could just install it manually.

Forgot to mention the OS is installed on D:, I've seen that cause problems with installs that just look for everything on c: instead of using a variable like %systemroot%

Me too...I'm running win xp pro with all updates, etc.  I use the normal system directory (C:Windows).
