I downloaded the latest build of EL (29-3-04) and found that the close button functionality has been changed to minimize to tray.

I think it?s supposed to work that way while in tray mode.

But I found that even if I didn't enable tray mode, the close button does not close the program, instead it minimizes to taskbar (same as minimize button)

Right clicking on the taskbar button and selecting close also doesn't seem to have an effect nor does the shortcut key (ALT+F4) work.
 Sad

I think that a press on "X" should CLOSE a program unless I specifically configure it otherwise.

Some things for next release:
 - Default "X" to CLOSE.
 - Default Karaoke bar to "NOT SHOWN" (so does alerts)

Thank you!!!

Thank you very much for responding

Pressing
  • doesn't seem to close it, only minimize it. I don't know, something could be wrong at my end also.

Anyway I see that you've released a new build. I'm downloading it right now and I'll report back after I install it.

OK, I just tried with the new development build (01. 04. 2004) and it seems to be working fine.

Thank you Smiley

Oops! Its hard to tell  embarassed

I think he/she was referring to the "Minimize on Close" option, which I'm pretty sure wasn't there in the 29/03 build  huh
