I love the idea of the poý
ët¤C@H&Great Proggie, but having Problems sadJaideejaidee68@yahoo.com24.223.146.226Égether.
I'm having problems, or I'm not finding the answers I need.
I was using MusicMatch but since it seems this proggie works better with WinMedia Player, I've switched. I know I have to have my songs correctly named to find lyrics: I'm in the process of renaming them & trying to figure out how to keep karaoke separate from actual songs. Anyway, I open the program and I've tried editing lyrics found to lyrics that I KNOW goes with whichever file I have - but I'm lost   Sad  When the song ends, there is no "pop-up" that allows me to save it. I only get that "pop-up" if, after song is complete, I re-download the lyrics from the site. The pop-up's there, I click yes - but what happens to it and why isn't it doing anything when playing the song? An example: Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse Of The Heart - The karaoke file I have is approx 6:01 - the lyrics found are for a much longer version. So I try editing. I paste my lyrics, start the song and proceed with time stamp. Song ends, program keeps running time. I click the refresh (any other way to stop time stamp, maybe??) the box pop-ups, I save - then nothing. I've lost the time stamped lyrics and start over, only that's becoming a real pain! Is there a step-by-step help file? If not, and if I ever figure this thing out, I'd be willing to do one  Smiley
Is there someplace where I can see lyric's I've submitted? (Not that that's happened yet, but soon). Or how do I get my lyrics that I've sync'd with songs instead of lyrics that are for other versions?
Any info is much appreciated!

I don't quite understandyý 뇭C@&Great Proggie, but having Problems sadMarekevillabs@zoznam.sk213.151.217.72orting as it never stops but goes on forever. Well, EvilLyrics only detects song started or finshed when title changes in your player i.e. when next song starts. This is the only way for program to know the song finished. So your problem is either that you have only one song in your playlist (after it's finished nothing happens) or that you have manual advance (you set you media player the way that you have to always click next for the next song). I assume it's the first case

Let's for example just try this. Load couple song in your player, run mentioned Bonnie Tyler song (have EvilLyrics turned on). Lyrics, either just downloaded or edited should appear, right?
Now press "magnifying glass" button (Search for karaoke) and webpage with karaoke file for that song should appear with some text in textbox selected. Take that text with your mouse (some characters like 7N643YFR7YXNRY7) and drag it into evillyrics window. After you confirm, lyrics should scroll to the line that is just being sung.

As to karaoke recording. Make sure that there is at least one song after one which you are playing. Right after the song you want to create karaoke for starts press "Recort karaoke" button and then hit down arrow button as song advances. Once the song is finished and another one starts playing message should appaear asking you if you want to save your timestamps.
Now, if you turn of karaoke recording mode and start that song again, proper lines should be highlighted.

Did it help?

Just remember. EvilLyrics only decects changes in position in the song when new song starts. So if you play with the seeking bar in your player or you make song play again from the beginning without switching to another meanwhile, you just confuse EvilLyircs. So everytime you record karaoke make sure the current time in statusbar matches one in your player

Thanx Guys. When I get a break from work, I'll give it a shot. Maybe that's what the problem is - not waiting til song goes to next song (Ms. Impatient here)

Thanx Again!
