www.songtext.net is also a site that would be great - it's got a lot of non-mainstream lyrics that are reviewed by members and staff. The problem is, that you need to register to use the page. Maybe it would be possible to add it (and other "register sites") as "optional", so that a user who wants to use it, can choose to create his own account there and then enter his user and pass in evillyrics which will include the page in the search then?

and btw, I just LOVE evillyrics Smiley

i don't see point why we should include site which requires password and has only 34k lyrics if we have some 30 sites that have much more lyrics and don't need password. anyway, as site needs password, lyrics cannot be found by search engines so are not available for evillyrics

Well, songtext.net has about 500.000 lyrics and a built in search-engine. Correction about what I said above: It seems, they don't require registration anymore in order to search and view lyrics.

Songtext has got two BIG advantages which would make it a worthy addition to evillyrics' search list:

a) There are reviews for lyrics - evillyrics could display preferredly the "green ones" that have been rated "correct". They'll only get this status, if they're complete with all refrains etc => ideal material for karaoke!

b) The german texts it serves (think of Rammstein, Subway to Sally...) tend to be complete and come with the "umlauts" (öäü) and the "ß" etc. correctly displayed - which I guess, many ppl would appreciate Wink

I am sorry, I had problems with the forum. Every time i wanted to submit the post, it told me that there was an error.. So I tried it several times. With success, as is seems angry
