when first page downloaded contains mostly hypertext links and there is no actual text, we assume that it is page with list of links to the actual lyrics (usualy page for lyrics for one album). then we try to redirect to the link for that song. By default there are 2 redirections allowed, you can set only one or disable this feature (set it to zero) in Preferences
- Lyrics editing
former Lock button now works as edit button. When pressed, EvilLyrics stops to detect new songs in Winamp and you can also edit lyrics in main window. When unpressed, lyrics are saved and detecting is resumed.
- Fast find
this should work like type-ahead in mozzila. just try to type to the main window. cursor jumps to the word you are typing ... you can move to the next or previous occurence of typed word by arrowe keys. To start to search again, press Esc. (doesnt't work in edit mode)
- Filter numbers
By default, EvilLyrics filters out all the digits from song name as these are much more frequently just track numbers than part of song or artist names. You disable this filtering in Preferences tab in Options dialog.
- Jump feature
when text returned is not filtered by known lyrics filters and it is too long, we assume that it is most probably lyrics to whole album. In that case, we jump to song name so that lyrics to the particular song are easier to locate
- Minimizing to tray
- Foobar support
Various bug fixes
- fixed minimize problem
- fixed extension removal problem (mp3, wma etc were sometimes included in song name)
- "Try next" option disabled after first use. Due to syntax of Google -- query, there can be nothing done about that.
