EvilLyrics was working fine for about 3 weeks, then I tried to run it today and immediately i get:
System Error &H8007007E (-2147024770). The specified module could not be found.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled and it does the same thing.
The install completes successfully each time.

it's good to hear you solved it. i was unable to reproduce error here so it was difficult to test it. i have couple of questions.
- what error were you actually getting? System Error &H8007007E?
- were those two files (ocx) in your system directory already?

actually installer check if those two files are in your system directory, if not it downloads and register them (the same thing as you did using regsvr32.exe). only reason for error could be that you had these files in your system directory so installer assumed they are alreday registered and skipped registering. if this really is reason for error it can be easily fixed. prease let me know about two previous questions ...

thanks

I had the same issue when I tried to install EvilLyrics on WinXP Pro (SP1 all patched up).

The problem was that the file mswinsck.ocx was incompatible.

I found this file in /windows/system32/  dated 02/26/1997.

I renamed this existing one to "mswinsck.ocx.old" uninstalled evillyrics and reinstalled.

Upon reinstallation, EvilLyrics downloaded the new mswinsck.ocx file.

All works well.

just my 2 cents.

thanks for letting us know. right now evillyrics only downlaods and registers this file if it's unable to find the file with same name at your computer. we can now check for filesize and if it doesn't match we can download newer version and register it. it should should solve problem for people with older versions of these libraries
