My antivirus showed me an alert while using EvilLyrics.

Details about the alert:
File: http://www.azlyrics.us/157220
Malicious code detected: HTML/TrojanDownloader.XXXToolbar Adware

Can the adware install in my sistem while using EvilLyrics if the lyrics pages send adware with the lyrics? Maybe EvilLyrics only download the page (with the malicious code) but doesn't execute it, so there is no problem.

Thank you.

No. Page is downloaded for example from azlyrics but it's never opened in your browser. It is treated as a text file and it's not even saved in your HD in full so there's no possibility that adware would install at your computer.

There is function (a button) "open original page in your browser" in EvilLyrics though .. if you use this one it can happen if you use IE

Ok, thanks!

The program is very useful. Congratulations. I'm Spanish and I like reading the lyrics to improve my English.

Bye!
