See http://forums.shareaza.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=218402#post218402

Based on observation, in many cases, EvilLyrics just reads the song title from the window title.  That is, in my case, once I installed the Blogging Plugin onto my Windows Media Player, EvilLyrics immediately worked great.

So integration, on my observation, is only two parts:
  • Shareaza devs put the current song on the Shareaza title (perhaps when the Media window in active, or put an option for this).
  • EvilLyrics devs add Shareaza to the list of apps on which they monitor song titles.
  • [/list:u]Sidenote: If Shareaza devs do this, then
wblogger and livejournal devs can follow suit.

so far i didn't find no "easy" way to get song info from shareaza. definitely, if they could put song info into window title (by default or using some plugin) shareaza support would be matter of 5 minutes of coding ...

I forgot to add that Shareaza is now completely open source -- Evillyrics devs can help the Shareaza devs on the first part.  wink

As of now, four folks expressed desire on this feature.  FWIW, many of us keep Shareaza running all the time anyhow.

Shareaza uses the windows media player system, so it will not be too difficult to create a plugin
