If you have music playing and EL minimised to the system tray, EL steals the keyboard focus when the song changes (presumably this is the behaviour programmed when EL is in the foreground, and it fails to check for being minimised).
The effect is that if you are typing something with EL minimised, when the song changes your typing silently disappears into a black hole until you click on your application.  If, like me, you have to look at the keyboard while you do your two-finger typing this is REALLY annoying!
