When I start Evillyrics, the Evillyrics window isn't shown and the Windows Installer wants to do the setup of Rational Rose RealTime.
When I cancel this setup, Evillyrics is started and I get to see the normal Evillyrics window.
Why is this?

Additional information:
Rational Rose is already installed on my computer and working fine.
This happens when I start Evillyrics standalone and when it is started via WinAmp.
I have the latest version of Evillyrics.
I use windows 2000 with all updates installed.

i have no idea ... it's probably that rational rose uses different versions of some shared dll components than rational rose .. so it tries to replace them ...

ever happened to anyone else? anyone was able to solve this issue?

Mine starts the installer for MS Frontpage...

mine too. have you found solution for that??? even tried uninstalling frontpage, but it didn´t help.

yeeah, happens here too. only lately though, i think....well, i havent used it in ages, so i dunno. but anyway, what's rational rose? i've used other versions of evillyrics before, and they've all worked fine. if i keep clicking cancel on the windows installer thing, it goes away eventually and evillyrics starts, but the windows installer starts again if i try to open perferences - extremely irritating....

disable quintessential player and all other "non-essential" options in evilyrics launcher (takes reinstall!). at startup the EVIL ONE tries to find all neccesary options and starts windows installer.

I had the same problem. I reinstalled the application whose installer was popping up and the problem stopped.
