Last night and today I tried to create some Karaoke Files.
First I tried with build 6 and after that with nightly build I downloaded today (28 feb 2004).
But with both versions, every karaoke file I create and upload, appear without Artist Name and Song Title... So they appear as "-" on the website...
I have set up my username and password correct in EvilLyrics, both ID3v1 and ID3v2 are filled in.
Player: WinAmp5.02 Pro (Feb 4 2004)
OS: Windows XP

Small addition:
The Karaoke files I created, do work locally on my machine and they show my nickname as creator in the EL statusbar.
(eg. Lyrics from musicsonglyrics: karaoke by FiXato)

i have no clue. does evillyrics fetch song info and search lyrics at all? does that info show in evillyrics search box?
To make sure, i created one karaoke file with latest build and it worked for me. Anyway, i re-checked the code and found some part that could case a problem so i rewrote it. Anyway like i'm saying, it worked for ma and it work for most people. But if you want to , try downloading latest build from development section

I Shall download the latest build and try again.
I shall also try using WinAmp2.
It fetches lyrics and such automatically. All works as it should... except for the submitting of my karaoke files...

I am using the latest build now, but it still isn't working correct... they still show up nameless on the website...

okay problem probably solved... I was using special chars in my password, which kinda screwed up serverside...

now only for a solution except not using those chars Tongue


(Oh and big thx to Marek for the quick personal support Wink [though we came to the same idea at the same time Tongue])
