Do I need VB Runtimes to run EL? If so, what version, and where can I get a free download?

installer detect if you have VB runtimes installed and if you don't, it offers you to download and install them. If for any case it wouldn't work, you can get them at
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/install/6/Win98Me/EN-US/VBRun60.exe

i tried to download VBRuntimes from the website you gave me, and it downloaded but i can't find it when i tried to search  for it in the file search. It's not even in the add/remove program list. And so, I can't run EL. I'm getting frustrated now. I think EL is a great program, a very useful one.

don't worry about dependencies of EL... just install the program while connected in the internet.. the installer will download and register all the needed files..  Cheesy
