I don't think that porting the software to mac will be that hard.
The only problem is to have it support some mac players (except iTunes).
For that to happen they need to, like, negotiate with all this companies and get their approval and all.
I'm a Linux user and I would really like to see a Linux port of EvilLyrics.
Making EvilLyrics support linux players like amaroK and XMMS shouldn't be hard at all because they could even integrate your software into their's.
Further more, if you decide to port it to Linux, I'd happily create Linux packages for you.

this doesn't have to do with evil lyrics, but for mac users, they could use the many widgets out there including this one
